Affiliate disclosure
There are currently no referral, sponsorship or advertising relationships on this site. This page states the rules that apply if there ever are.
Current position
Peer Group Guide carries no affiliate links, no sponsored placements and no paid listings. No organization has paid to appear here or to influence how it is described.
The rules
- Disclosure at the point of use. A referral link, a sponsored organization or an advertising partner is labelled where it appears — on the profile, in a guide, beside a link — not only in a footer, in accordance with the US Federal Trade Commission's guidance on endorsements and comparable rules elsewhere. Outbound referral links carry
rel="sponsored". - Commercial relationships do not determine editorial rankings or eligibility analysis. They are stored in tables that no ranking, similarity, comparison, qualification or listing query reads. An organization that pays is described in exactly the same words it would be described in if it did not.
- Sponsored placement is never presented as a ranking. Where a sponsored entry appears in a guide it is labelled and sits outside the ranked order.
- Referral compensation is disclosed before you act. The request-information form states whether the organization participates in a referral or lead programme, and nothing you enter is forwarded without your explicit consent to the exact fields shared.
- Enhanced profiles add material, not opinion. An organization may pay for expanded photography, video, event listings and a verified badge. It may not change the independently researched record, the editorial context, or its place in any list.
- Advertising is separated from content. See the advertising policy.
