Signatories are billionaires and billionaire couples who have publicly committed to give the majority of their wealth to philanthropy during their lifetime or in their wills. Most publish a signed letter explaining their reasoning. FBN International's central contact address is connect@fbn-i.org. Someone who meets the billionaire threshold and is ready to make the public commitment contacts the Giving Pledge to express interest. There is no published application form, review committee, sponsorship requirement or interview stage. In the early years Gates, French Gates and Buffett recruited signatories directly.
