Membership is typically taken out in the name of the family or family company and then extends to family members including spouses and next-generation members from age 18. Signatories are billionaires and billionaire couples who have publicly committed to give the majority of their wealth to philanthropy during their lifetime or in their wills. Most publish a signed letter explaining their reasoning.
