Family Office Networks vs NEXUS Global

This comparison was generated on request from the records. It carries no editorial verdict and is not indexed. The published comparisons are listed on the compare page.

Read down each column for one organization, across a row for the difference. A bronze mark at the left of a cell means the organizations differ on that row. A dash or “not published” means the organization does not disclose the fact; it is not a zero.

No wealth threshold is published. NEXUS deliberately mixes wealth-holders with the people they might fund. Its Australian chapter publishes the target ratio: roughly 50 per cent wealth holders including next-generation philanthropists, inheritors and impact investors; 30 per cent social change makers; 15 per cent corporate funders, impact investors and philanthropic advisers; and 5 per cent young leaders in public service. Application process Media access is granted on a verified email and a Basic subscription. Network access - the private directory, peer introductions and members-only events - requires an application, which FON says exists to maintain directory quality. Corporate membership is arranged directly with a partnership lead. Applications open three to four months before each summit. Candidates apply online or are invited, and the NEXUS Organizing Committee reviews within weeks against member referrals, personal and professional background, diversity and the target composition ratios. NEXUS describes the process as highly selective, with far more applications than places. Acceptance plus attendance at the multi-day summit confers membership for three years. Existing members are not guaranteed a seat at future summits.
Selectivity Not publicly disclosed. FON states only that the network side is by application to maintain directory quality. NEXUS states applications significantly exceed available spots and that a quality application does not guarantee admission, noting that it has 6,000+ members while its largest Global Summit seats only 700. No acceptance rate is published.
