Primary audience Individuals and couples with a net worth of at least one billion dollars, or who would be billionaires but for their giving Women with significant personal wealth who are willing to commit at least $1 million over ten years to organisations and initiatives benefiting women and girls, plus their families and next-generation family members
典型会员 Signatories are billionaires and billionaire couples who have publicly committed to give the majority of their wealth to philanthropy during their lifetime or in their wills. Most publish a signed letter explaining their reasoning. A separate Next Generation group, created in 2014, has more than 300 active members worldwide aged 18 to 75, drawn from the children and grandchildren of signatories; their identities are not disclosed because they did not personally sign the pledge. Individual members are women philanthropists and investors who have made a formal commitment of $1 million or more over ten years with an explicit gender lens. Separate Family and NextGen tiers exist at lower annual contribution levels; WMM does not publish whether those tiers carry the same $1 million commitment. The community includes donors, impact investors and political advocacy funders.
