TIGER 21 vs Long Angle
A moderated monthly peer group with published five-figure dues, against a vetted online community that costs nothing to join and earns from what its members choose to buy.
Long Angle
High-net-worth founders, executives and investors whose household investable assets exceed US$3 million.
TIGER 21
Ultra-high-net-worth entrepreneurs, investors and executives with at least US$20 million in investable assets, many of them post-exit.
Long Angle and TIGER 21 answer the same question — where does a person with significant liquid wealth find peers who will talk candidly about money — with opposite economics. TIGER 21 charges US$34,000 a year in North America plus a US$5,000 initiation fee, requires US$20 million in investable assets, and delivers eleven moderated meetings a year in a group capped at fifteen. Long Angle requires US$3 million in household assets, vets applicants through a call with an existing member, charges no membership fee, and delivers a continuous online community with live events and an annual retreat; its revenue comes from optional Trusted Circles (six-to-eight-person moderated groups with a twelve-month commitment, price not published) and from syndicated investment vehicles carrying a management fee.
The difference in bar is also a difference in room. TIGER 21's members are concentrated at the ultra-high-net-worth end and are frequently post-exit; Long Angle's published floor admits a far wider band, and the community's own material describes most members as between US$5 million and US$100 million.

| Application process | Applicants complete a short form, attest that household assets exceed US$3 million excluding a primary residence, and accept the no-solicitation policy. A peer member reviews the application and then holds a video call of roughly 25 minutes before membership is granted. | Candidates submit an inquiry and are assessed by a Membership Development Director against the 5Cs. Vetting includes extensive background checks and interviews, and TIGER 21 states the process typically takes about two months. Meeting the capital minimum is explicitly not sufficient on its own. |
| Selectivity | Not publicly disclosed. Long Angle describes vetting by an active member but publishes no acceptance rate. | TIGER 21 states that meeting the US$20 million minimum "does not guarantee admittance" and that other qualitative requirements apply at its discretion. Cuál es más adecuado y para quién
Análisis editorial, separado del registro anterior. Sigue el metodología. No se declara superior ninguna organización; la cuestión es la adecuación.
Long Angle tends to suit people from the low millions upward who want the conversation and the directory more than a fixed monthly obligation, who are comfortable that the organization's incentive is to convert free members into paying programmes and investment vehicles, and who value virtual participation. The no-solicitation rule and member-led vetting are the safeguards to weigh against that incentive.
TIGER 21 tends to suit people above US$20 million who want structure — a Chair, a fixed calendar, a Portfolio Defense — and who would rather pay a known price than be sold to. Many people would qualify for both; the choice is about whether the value is in the discipline of the room or in the breadth of the network.
