Methodologie

Every organization is one row in a structured database plus its requirements, fees, chapters, sources, relations and history. Prose is attached to the record, not the reverse. That is what lets a comparison table, a city page, an alternatives list and an API response be generated from the same verified fields — and why they cannot contradict one another.

The database holds 185 organizations, 686 current requirement rows, 341 disclosed fee rows, 874 chapters and 1115 sources.

Taxonomie

Not every club is the same thing, so each organization carries exactly one primary type — peer advisory, networking, investment community, private club, professional association, paid mastermind, family-office network, family-business organization, invitation-only community, leadership network or philanthropic network — describing what it is, plus any number of categories describing who it is for (CEO peer groups, investor networks, women executive organizations…) and structure flags (chapter-based, forum-based, event-focused, virtual, cohort-based, clubhouse premises). A paid mastermind is not a peer-advisory organization and a social club is not an investor network; the taxonomy is the site's, and it is applied by editors, not by the organizations.

Bronvermelding en betrouwbaarheid

Sources are used in this order of preference: (1) the organization's official website; (2) official membership materials; (3) official application documents; (4) annual reports; (5) government filings; (6) reliable business publications; (7) credible interviews; (8) other reputable secondary sources. Content produced by AI systems, aggregators that do not name their sources, and lead-generation pages are never cited.

Each requirement and fee row carries a confidence level: high — from the organization itself or a primary document, checked within the year; medium — from consistent reporting by named publications with no contradiction found; low — thinly documented or contradicted elsewhere, published because a marked gap is more useful than silence. A row from the organization itself is labelled as such.

Where an organization does not publish a figure the row says Not publicly disclosed. Where a figure circulates but cannot be traced to a reliable source it says Could not be independently verified. We never fill a gap with a plausible number.

Geschiedenis en wijzigingen

Requirement and fee rows are versioned. When a figure changes, the old row is closed with the date it ceased to apply and kept; the new row is added; and the change is written to the public change log with the previous value and the reason. "TIGER 21 dues over time" or "YPO's age rule over time" is therefore a query, not a memory. A figure not re-verified within twelve months is marked as such wherever it appears and joins the editors' review queue; the date is never restamped without a check.

Het kwalificatietool

The tool compares a profile you give in ranges with each organization's current published criteria, one criterion at a time. Each criterion is scored met, straddled (your range crosses the threshold), not met, clearly not met (well below the threshold or well over an age limit), or unknown (you left the question blank). The organization's status follows from those outcomes:

Within a status, organizations are ordered by fit, then by the depth of their record. The page always lists the reasons: which criteria appeared met, which were unclear, which were not, and what remains to be confirmed — invitation, sponsorship, chapter-level tests. The exact weights are kept server-side and are not exposed to the browser; nothing about the tool implies official eligibility, and admission decisions belong to the organization.

Vergelijkingen

Comparison tables are generated from the records — the same rows as the profile pages — with a difference mark on every row where the organizations differ. Any pair can be generated on request; such pages carry no verdict and are not indexed. A comparison is published only when an editor has written an introduction and a reading of which organization suits whom, and it is indexed only when the two records are themselves indexable and differ materially on at least four rows. The site never declares one organization better than another.

Ranglijsten en gidsen

Editorial rankings ("best CEO peer groups for founders under 45") are made by editors from the structured records: the fit between the guide's stated reader and each organization's published criteria; the completeness and verification of its record; disclosed cost relative to what is offered; structure and footprint; and independent reporting. The rationale for every entry is written on the page. Commercial relationships play no part; a sponsored entry, where one exists, is labelled and sits outside the ranked order. Rankings are reviewed on the date shown and are opinion, not measurement.

Alternatieven en gelijkenis

"Similar organizations" and the alternatives pages are computed from shared audience categories, the same primary type, comparable published thresholds and dues, chapters in the same cities and curated editorial relations. The reasons are shown beside each entry. Alternatives are additionally grouped by the need they answer — a lower wealth threshold, no upper age limit, lower published dues, the same structure — and each group states the rule that produced it.

Wanneer een pagina geïndexeerd mag worden

Search engines are shown only pages that carry enough unique value to be worth arriving at. An organization page is indexable when it has an independent description, editorial context, at least two sources and a record-depth score above a threshold. A city page needs at least five organizations with a verified local presence and an original introduction. A category page needs four organizations and an introduction. A comparison needs an editorial reading and material differences. Everything else stays reachable on the site but is marked noindex. Filtered and paginated views of the finder are never indexed. This is a deliberate constraint on growth: a page that would be a title and three rows is not published to search, however much traffic the query might carry.

Commerciële relaties

Referral, sponsorship and advertising relationships are stored in separate tables that no ranking, similarity, eligibility or listing query reads. They surface only as labels. See the affiliate disclosure and advertising policy.

AI

AI assistance is used in research and cross-checking, in translating the interface, and in the Ask the Data feature, which answers only from the database. It does not decide qualification statuses, write verdicts or rankings, or generate images. Every fact in the database is tied to a source a person can open.
