Family Office Networks
Family office principals and chief investment officers, ultra-high-net-worth individuals, and firms partnering with the family office community
Fondazione — FON's own site gives 2014. A secondary profile states Andrew Schneider founded the network in 2012; the organisation's date is used here.
Family Office Networks is a media and membership platform for family offices and ultra-high-net-worth individuals, founded in 2014 by Andrew Schneider after running his own family office. It operates on three tracks: original reporting on markets, real estate, finance, technology and governance; a private member network with a directory and peer introductions; and a year-round events calendar. Publications include a quarterly magazine with regional editions for the United States, Europe, Asia and the Middle East and North Africa, plus the FON Weekly and FON Luxury newsletters, a statistics memo and the FONCAST podcast. Membership is priced in three published tiers: Basic at USD 1,495 a year for media access, Premium at USD 4,995 a year adding the private member directory, warm peer introductions, members-only events and the annual summit, and Corporate from USD 20,000 a year for firms wanting team seats, sponsorship, private events and curated principal introductions. FON states that the media side is open to any verified email while the network side is by application. The organisation reports more than 2,400 verified principals across more than 40 countries.
Come funziona
Access splits in two. Media access - articles, magazine, newsletters, video and podcast - is granted on a verified email and a Basic subscription. Network access, meaning the private member directory, peer introductions, members-only events and the annual summit, requires an application and sits at the Premium tier and above. Corporate members buy team seats plus sponsorship and event-hosting rights.
Socio tipico
FON describes its member base as roughly 45 per cent ultra-high-net-worth individuals, 20 per cent single and multi-family offices and 20 per cent luxury companies. No wealth threshold is published.

Struttura e programmazione
Contesto indipendente
FON is closer to a specialist trade publication with a paid community attached than to a vetted family office peer network, and its own framing supports that reading: the media product is explicitly open, and only the directory and events are gated by application. The published price list is a genuine advantage over FOX, IPI or CCC Alliance, all of which keep dues private. The Corporate tier makes the commercial model plain - service providers pay to reach principals - so members should assume some inbound interest from other members, which the strictly solicitation-free networks are designed to prevent. Member counts differ between FON's own pages (2,400 versus 3,000), and no wealth or asset threshold is published for the principal tiers, so the qualification bar cannot be verified from outside.
