The ImPact
Family principals and the senior staff of their family offices and foundations who want to align family capital with their values
A profile page holds what the organization publishes and what named sources report: who it admits, what it costs, how it is structured, where it operates, and how it has changed. Every figure carries the date it was checked. A dash means the organization does not publish that fact.
Founding: Co-founded by Josh Cohen, Justin Rockefeller and Liesel Pritzker Simmons.
The ImPact is a non-profit global membership community of families committed to aligning their investments with their values and to measuring the social and environmental results. Founded in 2014 by Josh Cohen, Justin Rockefeller and Liesel Pritzker Simmons, it takes its name from a pact among members to examine the impact of all their investments, not just an allocated slice. It reports more than 90 member families across 23 countries and five continents. Membership is at family level and extends to principals and their senior family office and foundation staff. Members receive support from a community manager, a bespoke plan built around a framework the organisation calls 10 Key Actions, a resource portal and a virtual curriculum, and they meet through global summits, a Leaders Forum, regional convenings, thematic events, immersive field trips, working groups and a Next Gen retreat. A separate ImPact Lab incubates new initiatives. Dues are not published; the organisation says it is funded through members' contributions and grants or donations from philanthropists. It is a registered 501(c)(3) with a board chaired by Justin Rockefeller.
How it works
Membership begins with an introductory call arranged through the team; there is no public application form or price list. Each member family is supported by a community manager and works through a personalised plan built on the organisation's 10 Key Actions. Families meet at an annual Strategy Summit and Leaders Forum, regional convenings, thematic events and field trips, and can join working groups and a Next Gen retreat. Curated one-to-one introductions between peer families are part of the offer.
Typical member
Members are families rather than individuals. Membership covers family principals and their senior family office and foundation staff. The organisation states that members collectively invest billions of dollars in line with their values.
Membership requirements
Requirements in detail, with history →Requirements are the tests the organization itself publishes: an age ceiling, a company-revenue floor, a net-worth minimum, a role. Where a figure straddles a range, the organization's own assessment decides. Local chapters can apply stricter tests than the published standard.

Structure and programming
Independent context
The ImPact is a family network rather than an investor club, and the difference shows in what it does not do: it runs no deal platform, no syndicate and no fund, so families arrive with their own capital structures and use the network for peer learning, frameworks and introductions. That makes it complementary to something like Toniic rather than a substitute, and several families are likely to belong to both. The founding names carry weight in this field, which is part of the appeal and also a fair signal about who the peer group is. The organisation publishes no dues, no wealth threshold and no application form, so the real entry conditions are set in a private conversation, and prospective members cannot compare cost with alternatives beforehand. The About page's own count of member countries is internally inconsistent, at 20 in prose and 23 in the statistics block.
