1. Acceptance

By visiting, using or viewing Peer Group Guide (the "Site") you agree to these Terms of Use and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the Site.

2. The Site is information, not advice

The Site is an independent reference publication about membership organizations. Nothing on it constitutes financial, investment, legal, tax, business or membership advice, nor does it represent the opinion of, counsel from, or a recommendation by Peer Group Guide or any of its affiliates, operators or partners. Nothing on the Site constitutes a recommendation that any particular organization, membership, transaction or course of action is suitable for any specific person. Peer Group Guide is not a registered investment adviser, broker-dealer or financial planner and does not hold itself out as any of these.

3. Eligibility information

Membership requirements, fees and other facts are as published by the organizations or reported by named sources on the dates shown. The qualification tool compares information you supply in ranges with published criteria and is informational only; it does not imply official eligibility, acceptance or endorsement. Final eligibility and admission decisions belong entirely to each organization, which may apply criteria that are not published and may change its criteria without notice.

4. Publisher's status

Peer Group Guide is a bona fide publication of general and regular circulation. To the extent that any content on the Site touches on investments, investment communities or the value of assets, it is published as impersonal general commentary of the kind contemplated by the publisher's exclusion at section 202(a)(11) of the Investment Advisers Act of 1940 and comparable provisions elsewhere: the content is not tailored to any individual's circumstances, is not issued in response to any particular event intended to prompt a transaction, and is offered to the public generally rather than to clients.

5. Accuracy and currency

Information on the Site is compiled from sources believed to be reliable, but may be incomplete, out of date, or wrong. Figures are not quotations; organizations change dues and criteria without notice, and a figure older than twelve months is marked as such rather than presented as current. Always verify against the organization before acting.

6. Limitation of liability

All viewers agree that under no circumstances will Peer Group Guide, its operators, partners, officers, employees, affiliates, or agents be held liable for any loss or damage — direct, indirect, incidental, consequential or otherwise — caused by your reliance on information obtained here, by your use of or inability to use the Site, or by any error or omission in its content. The Site is provided "as is" and without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

7. Intellectual property and the database

Facts are not owned, and Peer Group Guide makes no claim to own any fact. What is the publisher's, and protected under copyright, database and unfair-competition law where applicable, is the original selection, organization and arrangement of the database; the taxonomy; the editorial analysis, comparisons, guides and descriptions; the proprietary scoring, similarity and qualification methods; the software; and the design of the Site. Photographs remain the property of their creators and are used under the licences displayed with each image; the licence, not these Terms, governs what you may do with a photograph. News headlines and summaries remain the property of their publishers.

You may quote briefly from the Site with attribution and a link, and you may use the API within its published limits. You may not, without written permission: extract, copy or reproduce the database or any substantial part of it, whether by scraping, crawling, bulk downloading, repeated systematic querying or otherwise; reconstitute the database or the taxonomy elsewhere; reuse the content commercially; or circumvent rate limits, quotas, access controls or other technical safeguards. Search engines and AI systems may index public pages for the purpose of directing users to the Site and citing it.

8. Third-party links

The Site links to organizations, publications and other sites it does not control. Those links are not endorsements, and Peer Group Guide is not responsible for the content, accuracy, availability or practices of any external site.

9. Commercial relationships

Where Peer Group Guide has a referral, sponsorship, lead-generation or advertising relationship with an organization, it is disclosed at the point of use and listed on the Affiliate Disclosure page. Commercial relationships do not determine editorial rankings, comparisons, similarity, eligibility analysis or how any organization is described. See also the Advertising Policy.

10. Submissions

By submitting a correction, a claim or other content you confirm it is accurate to the best of your knowledge and that you have the right to submit it, and you grant Peer Group Guide a licence to use it in the operation of the Site. Submissions are reviewed and may be declined. Anonymous accusations against identifiable individuals will not be published.

11. Acceptable use

Do not use the Site to break the law, to interfere with its operation, or to place automated load on it beyond ordinary reading. Automated access should use the API within its limits. Access may be restricted or revoked, and API keys withdrawn, where these Terms are breached.

12. Changes

These Terms may be updated; the date at the top records when. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance of it.
