Women Moving Millions, Inc. was later established as a separate entity with a $1.5m grant from J.P. Morgan Chase.)

Primary audience Individuals, couples, families, businesses and funders who want to give money and professional skills to nonprofits in their own city, rather than write cheques at a distance Women with significant personal wealth who are willing to commit at least $1 million over ten years to organisations and initiatives benefiting women and girls, plus their families and next-generation family members
典型会员 Partners are individuals, couples, families, businesses and funders who commit both a financial contribution and skilled volunteer time. The model originated among Pacific Northwest technology wealth in the 1990s and remains professional rather than ultra-high-net-worth: SVP Seattle asks partners to average $5,000 a year and states plainly that even this locks out many people, offering flexibility on the figure. Individual members are women philanthropists and investors who have made a formal commitment of $1 million or more over ten years with an explicit gender lens. Separate Family and NextGen tiers exist at lower annual contribution levels; WMM does not publish whether those tiers carry the same $1 million commitment. The community includes donors, impact investors and political advocacy funders.

Communities without an affiliate can apply to SVPI to start one.
