The angel community is organised through Tech Coast Angels, now TCA Venture Group, one of the largest angel networks in the country. The clubs divide between the historic downtown institutions with business memberships and the West Hollywood and Beverly Hills members' clubs that opened in the last decade for the entertainment and technology industries. Distance matters here more than in other cities: an organization's chapter may meet an hour from where you live.
