Golden Seeds membership requirements

Every criterion Golden Seeds publishes, with its source, the date it was verified and how confident we are in it — plus superseded figures, so you can see how the tests have moved.

Read a requirement as the organization's published floor, not as a promise. A revenue test may have alternative versions for different business types, chapters can set stricter local tests, and invitation-only bodies publish criteria that describe members rather than admit them.

How admission works

Application process
Newcomers to angel investing are directed first to a one-hour virtual open house where current members describe the experience. The next step is attending a forum meeting to observe the investment process and meet members. A prospective member then requests an invitation through the investor forums page, or contacts the membership team directly, and receives a membership agreement on confirming SEC accredited investor status.
