Golden Seeds

Golden Seeds is a United States angel investment network founded in 2004 by Stephanie Hanbury-Brown that invests exclusively in early-stage companies founded or led by women. It runs nine chapters - Arizona, Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, New Jersey, New York and Silicon Valley - with members in 28 states, Washington DC and internationally. The organisation reports funding more than 275 companies with roughly USD 200 million invested, and says portfolio companies have attracted more than USD 2.5 billion in follow-on capital. Members may invest directly in individual deals or take diversified exposure through member-managed annual funds.
