MMT
Established entrepreneurs selected on values and character rather than on business size.
A profile page holds what the organization publishes and what named sources report: who it admits, what it costs, how it is structured, where it operates, and how it has changed. Every figure carries the date it was checked. A dash means the organization does not publish that fact.
Founding: The organization's homepage dates itself "Since 2013"; it was founded by Jayson Gaignard, who is listed as Founder and Head Curator.
MMT, founded in 2013 by Jayson Gaignard as MastermindTalks, is an invitation-only entrepreneur community that now operates under the shortened MMT name. It states that more than 20,000 entrepreneurs have applied since inception and that the community is capped at 250 members annually, which it uses to describe itself as one of the most exclusive entrepreneur groups in the world. Unusually for the category, MMT publishes no revenue, industry or company-size test. It states that it curates for who people are rather than what they have built, and its published criteria are dispositional: treating relationships as transformational rather than transactional, measuring success against oneself, and identifying as community-made rather than self-made. Programming mixes an online forum, monthly member catch-ups, full-day remote gatherings every two months, a library of more than eighty recorded sessions, and small strategic-partnership trios that meet every other month, alongside in-person Global Gatherings, mastermind dinners and family trips. A first-year membership includes one live experience, with further gatherings sold as add-ons. The organization does not publish a membership price.
How it works
Applicants complete an eight-question application, are reviewed by a curation team, take an exploration call, and are then admitted by cohort; cohorts open four times a year. Members use an online forum, monthly MMT Connect catch-ups, bi-monthly full-day remote gatherings, a recorded session library and MMThree partnership trios, plus in-person Global Gatherings and dinners.
Typical member
The organization explicitly declines to use revenue, industry or business size as selection criteria, and instead curates for values. It cites member recognitions including Inc. 500 fastest-growing company rankings, a Glassdoor best-CEO listing and an Order of Canada award for philanthropy.
Membership requirements
Requirements in detail, with history →Requirements are the tests the organization itself publishes: an age ceiling, a company-revenue floor, a net-worth minimum, a role. Where a figure straddles a range, the organization's own assessment decides. Local chapters can apply stricter tests than the published standard.

Initiation fees are paid once on joining; dues recur. Chapter dues, retreats, travel and events are usually additional and are listed separately when the organization discloses them. Figures are as published or reported on the date shown, not quotations.

|---|---|---|---|
| Annual dues | Not publicly disclosed. No MMT page publishes a membership fee; the site states only that a first-year membership includes one live experience, with additional gatherings available as optional add-ons. | Source ↗ | |
| Event costs | Historic, third-party reported ticket prices for the annual MastermindTalks event, quoted in interviews and podcast write-ups as ranging from about US$7,500 to US$12,000 per seat in earlier years. These are event tickets under the former model, not the current membership fee, and could not be independently verified. | Source ↗ | |
Structure and programming
Independent context
MMT is the outlier in this batch because it refuses the usual screen. Most paid founder communities gate on revenue; MMT gates on values and caps the roster, which makes the application unusually consequential and makes fit harder to self-assess before applying. The published funnel figure - more than 20,000 applications since 2013 against a 250-member cap - is the organization's own and is not audited, but it is at least a specific claim rather than a vague appeal to exclusivity. Two practical caveats. First, price is not published anywhere, and the third-party figures in circulation refer to historic event tickets rather than current membership, so a prospective member cannot budget from public sources. Second, because the first year includes only one live experience, most of the year-one value is digital.
