San Vicente Bungalows membership requirements

Every criterion San Vicente Bungalows publishes, with its source, the date it was verified and how confident we are in it, plus superseded figures, so you can see how the tests have moved.

Read a requirement as the organization's published floor, not as a promise. A revenue test may have alternative versions for different business types, chapters can set stricter local tests, and invitation-only bodies publish criteria that describe members rather than admit them.

Sponsorship "Application for membership requires a nomination by a current San Vicente member. A nomination is obligatory for membership, but does not confer acceptance." The club states that being nominated "is the only way to be invited to apply", and that multiple nominations "will significantly enhance your prospects of becoming a member". Minimum age The club is restricted to guests 18 and older except at Saturday and Sunday brunch, when children of all ages are admitted This is a premises rule governing guests rather than a stated minimum age for membership. Verified September 2026High confidenceSource ↗

Beyond the nomination requirement, San Vicente publishes no qualifying criteria for membership.

How admission works

Application process
There is no open application. A current member submits a nomination through the SV mobile app, the SV website portal or the membership team, and the club then sends an application to the candidate. Applications are reviewed monthly by the membership committee. Non-members cannot tour the club before applying; the club suggests asking a member to bring them as a guest.
Invitation required
Yes
Sponsor required
Yes
Selectivity
The club publishes no acceptance rate. It states that applicants who do not hear from the membership committee within six weeks have been waitlisted, asks them not to chase for updates, and advises them to seek additional nominations instead.
Membership term
Could not be independently verified. Memberships are stated to be non-transferable and may not be used by a member's partner.
Primary audience
Not stated by the club. San Vicente publishes no description of who it admits, only that candidates must be nominated by an existing member and are assessed by a membership committee
Typical member
The club publishes nothing about its membership. Reporting since its 2018 opening has associated it with the Los Angeles entertainment industry; The New York Times described it in February 2019 as Hollywood's new clubhouse.
