San Vicente Bungalows
Not stated by the club. San Vicente publishes no description of who it admits, only that candidates must be nominated by an existing member and are assessed by a membership committee
A profile page holds what the organization publishes and what named sources report: who it admits, what it costs, how it is structured, where it operates, and how it has changed. Every figure carries the date it was checked. A dash means the organization does not publish that fact.
Founding: Hotelier Jeff Klein bought the San Vicente Inn in West Hollywood in 2013 and rebranded it as San Vicente Bungalows, a private membership club; it opened in late 2018.
San Vicente Bungalows is a private members' club in West Hollywood, created by the hotelier Jeff Klein from the former San Vicente Inn, which he bought in 2013 and reopened as a club in late 2018. It has since become the founding site of San Vicente Clubs, which operates three clubs under one membership: the original bungalows at 845 North San Vicente Boulevard, SV Santa Monica at 1401 Ocean Avenue, and SV West Village at 115 Jane Street in New York. Admission is by nomination only: a candidate cannot apply without being put forward by an existing member, and applications are reviewed monthly by a membership committee. The club is notably strict on privacy and access. Photography is banned anywhere inside the club, guests have stickers placed over their phone cameras at the front desk, members are told not to discuss anything they witness, and non-members are not permitted to tour the property. Memberships are non-transferable and cannot be used by a partner. A published dress code and detailed guest rules apply throughout.
How it works
An existing member submits a nomination through the SV app, the website portal or the membership team, which triggers an application to the candidate. Applications are evaluated monthly by the membership committee. Applicants who hear nothing within six weeks are waitlisted; the club advises them to seek further nominations rather than chase for updates, and says multiple nominations significantly improve the chance of admission. Members may bring up to three guests, must register them in advance, must stay with them and must leave with them.
Typical member
The club publishes nothing about its membership. Reporting since its 2018 opening has associated it with the Los Angeles entertainment industry; The New York Times described it in February 2019 as Hollywood's new clubhouse.
Membership requirements
Requirements in detail, with history →Requirements are the tests the organization itself publishes: an age ceiling, a company-revenue floor, a net-worth minimum, a role. Where a figure straddles a range, the organization's own assessment decides. Local chapters can apply stricter tests than the published standard.

Independent context
San Vicente is the most closed club in this group and the most explicit about it. There is no public application route, no tours, no published pricing, no member count and no description of the kind of person it wants; the only published mechanism is a nomination from an existing member, and the club states plainly that multiple nominations improve the odds. Its rules go further than the usual no-photography line: guests' phone cameras are physically stickered, and members are told it is forbidden to discuss what they see. That opacity means almost nothing about cost or scale can be verified from outside, and the fee rows below are empty rather than estimated. The expansion into Santa Monica and New York is recent enough that reference sources still describe San Vicente as a single West Hollywood club.
