Family-business organizations
Family-business organizations are for owning families and the executives of family-controlled companies, and most admit family members across generations rather than only the person in charge. The largest, the Family Business Network, is a federation of national chapters; national bodies such as Family Business UK and Family Enterprise USA combine peer programming with policy advocacy; and university centres run structured programmes with tuition rather than dues. What separates them is whether the audience is the owning family, the next generation, or the advisers who serve them, and whether the organization exists to lobby, to educate or to convene.
