Cada criterio YPO publica, junto con su fuente, la fecha en que fue verificada y el grado de confianza que tenemos en ella, además de las cifras supersedidas, para que pueda ver cómo han evolucionado los criterios.

Interprete un requisito como el mínimo publicado por la organización, no como una garantía. Un criterio de ingresos puede tener versiones alternativas para distintos tipos de negocio, los capítulos pueden establecer criterios locales más estrictos y las entidades de acceso solo por invitación publican criterios que describen a sus miembros, sin que ello implique su admisión.

Cómo funciona la admisión

Application process

Applications are submitted through YPO's online form in five steps (contact information, requirements, personal details, company details, and terms and fees) and are then reviewed. Candidates are assessed against the published age, title, employee and company-size tests, and are admitted into a specific chapter.

Primary audience

Chief executives who joined before their 45th birthday and lead companies that meet YPO's published employee and revenue tests.

Miembro tipo

Members are the top operating executive of their company or division, with full profit-and-loss accountability and hire/fire authority. Qualifying companies are mid-market and larger: at least 50 full-time employees, or 15 employees plus USD 2.75 million of annual employee compensation, with revenue tests from USD 13 million upward depending on business type.

Cambios de umbral reportados

2026Company-size thresholds now published as USD 16m (sales/service/manufacturing), USD 13m (agency), USD 330m AUM (financial institution), USD 27m enterprise value and USD 2.75m employee compensation. Secondary summaries published before 2026 list lower figures (USD 15m, USD 12m, USD 300m, USD 25m and USD 2m), indicating the tests were raised; the change itself is not documented by YPO. ↗
