Yatırımcı ağları içinde Seattle
Seattle's executive networks reflect a city whose wealth is corporate and technological rather than dynastic. The national peer organizations are present (EO has a Seattle chapter, TIGER 21 runs a Seattle group and Hampton lists Seattle among its in-person chapter cities) and the angel scene is unusually organised for a city of its size, with the Alliance of Angels and Keiretsu Forum's Northwest chapter screening deals monthly. The traditional clubs downtown, founded when the city's money came from timber and shipping, still carry business memberships, and the real-estate investor association REAPS is one of the larger local investor bodies in the country. Because so much of the region's capital sits in stock and options rather than private companies, the investor peer groups here skew toward post-liquidity executives, and virtual communities are a common supplement.
