Status: Renamed. Rebranded as Home House Studio in February 2026. The club continues to operate at the same address, 44 Great Cumberland Place, and homegrownclub.co.uk now returns an HTTP 301 redirect to homehouse.co.uk. Sleeper Magazine and Boutique Hotelier reported the rebrand in February 2026 as part of a repositioning of the Home House Collection into two named houses: Home House at Portman Square and Home House Studio at Great Cumberland Place.

Founding — Opened on 3 April 2019 as Home Grown, the sister club to Home House, launched by Home House managing director Andrew Richardson

Home Grown opened on 3 April 2019 at 44 Great Cumberland Place in Marylebone, London, as the business-facing sister club to Home House. It occupies four Grade II-listed Georgian townhouses of about 26,000 square feet and holds 35 bedrooms, business lounges, bars, a restaurant, meeting rooms and pitching suites. The club was positioned around the working day rather than the evening, with programming built on investor introductions, mentoring, sector networking and speaker events. In February 2026 the Home House Collection rebranded it as Home House Studio, a co-working-led club, following brand work with Truth Consulting and the design studio OMSE; the old domain now redirects to the Home House site. Under the new name the offer is described as dedicated desks, private call pods, meeting rooms, desk dining, an on-site restaurant and cafe, and 35 bedrooms each with a desk. Membership is sold under the Home House Studio name from £600 a year for limited access or £3,000 a year for full access, with a combined Homes membership covering both houses.

How it works

Members use the Marylebone clubhouse mainly during the working day, with lounges, phone pods, meeting rooms and bookable bedrooms. Applications are made online through the Home House site and reviewed by the membership committee. A combined membership covering both Home House and Home House Studio is available.

Typical member

Founder-led businesses, investors and professional-service providers. At launch the club said it was targeting a mix of roughly 70 per cent entrepreneurs, 20 per cent investors and 10 per cent service providers.

Requirements are the tests the organization itself publishes — an age ceiling, a company-revenue floor, a net-worth minimum, a role. Where a figure straddles a range, the organization's own assessment decides. Local chapters can apply stricter tests than the published standard.

Independent context

This entry is a rename, not a closure: the club is still open at the same address under the Home House Studio name. That matters for anyone using older sources, because pricing published before February 2026 was structured around Affiliate, Portfolio and Collection tiers with a £299 joining fee, and the current site prices the same building as limited or full access starting at £600 or £3,000 a year. Compared with The Conduit, which restricts laptops and calls to named rooms, Home House Studio is unapologetically a working club, and it is one of the few in London that pairs desks with bedrooms. The weaker points are transparency and continuity: joining fees are no longer stated on the current membership pages, no member count is published, and the repositioning has left two overlapping fee structures in circulation.
