Private-equity communities

Private-equity and deal communities include the industry's trade associations, the limited-partner body, chapter-based associations for the middle-market deal community, and platforms for search-fund entrepreneurs and independent sponsors. Individual membership is usually open to anyone working in the industry and priced accordingly; the more selective bodies are those for women investors and for institutional limited partners, which publish role tests. Chapter networks such as ACG run local events in most of the cities this site tracks.

Thresholds are the most telling published minimums; “not published” means the organization does not state criteria publicly. Dues are the lowest disclosed recurring figure, before chapter and event costs; n/d means not disclosed. Ordering never reflects payment.
