CEO Global Network
CEOs, business owners and senior executives of Canadian companies
A profile page holds what the organization publishes and what named sources report: who it admits, what it costs, how it is structured, where it operates, and how it has changed. Every figure carries the date it was checked. A dash means the organization does not publish that fact.
Founding: Could not be independently verified. The organisation's own pages give no founding date. Company-profile databases including LinkedIn list 2008, but no primary or business-press source confirms it.
CEO Global Network is a Canadian peer-advisory organisation founded by John Wilson, who previously worked at TEC (The Executive Committee) Canada. It combines three elements: facilitated peer groups led by former chief executives the organisation calls Group Leaders, monthly one-to-one mentoring sessions between each member and their Group Leader, and learning events with outside speakers. A parallel programme, Senior Executive Peer Groups, places members' direct reports in groups of up to 16 non-competing senior executives on the same model. A third programme, the Global Leadership Training Program, is a curriculum-based course delivered to companies and partner organisations rather than a peer group. Members are given psychometric and leadership instruments including an emotional-intelligence self-assessment, the Leadership Practices Inventory 360 and an organisational wellness inventory, plus a member app with a resource library. Admission is by application and a discovery call rather than by nomination. The organisation publishes no fees, member numbers, revenue thresholds or group locations.
How it works
Members are placed in a peer group led by an experienced CEO acting as Group Leader. Groups meet regularly in confidence, with each member also taking a monthly one-to-one session of about two hours with their Group Leader focused on priorities and accountability. Members are additionally invited to keynote and workshop events through the year. Prospective members complete a form, take a self-assessment and hold a 20-30 minute discovery call.
Typical member
CEO Global Network describes members as leaders of "Canada's fastest-growing and most successful companies". It publishes no revenue, employee-count or net-worth threshold and no member demographics.
Membership requirements
Requirements in detail, with history →Requirements are the tests the organization itself publishes: an age ceiling, a company-revenue floor, a net-worth minimum, a role. Where a figure straddles a range, the organization's own assessment decides. Local chapters can apply stricter tests than the published standard.

Independent context
This is one of the least transparent organisations in this batch: it publishes no dues, no member count, no eligibility threshold and no list of cities, which makes independent comparison with TEC Canada or MacKay difficult. Its founder's background at TEC Canada matters, because the operating model - a chair-led group plus a monthly one-to-one - is essentially the Vistage/TEC template rather than something new. The published two-hour monthly one-to-one is at the generous end for the format. The "Global" in the name is not borne out by anything on the site; every reference point is Canadian. Anyone comparing it against TEC Canada or MacKay will have to get pricing by phone, and should ask specifically how many groups run in their own city.
