Reading the pattern
Thresholds cluster by what an organization is about. CEO peer groups test the company — revenue, employees, valuation — and add an age ceiling where the organization is built for younger executives. Wealth communities test the person, in net worth or investable assets, and publish a floor precisely because it is the easiest way to keep a room consistent. Founder communities increasingly accept alternatives — capital raised, an exit — in place of revenue, which tells you what kind of company they expect. Where a threshold has moved in the period the database covers, it has moved upward. Data as of 14 October 2026.
