Executive networks and clubs in San Francisco

The Bay Area's organizations are shaped by venture capital: founder communities and angel groups are stronger here than anywhere else, the peer-group chapters skew toward technology, and several organizations that are virtual elsewhere hold their in-person events in San Francisco. EO has two chapters in the region, TIGER 21 and Hampton run San Francisco groups, and the angel groups — the Band of Angels, Sand Hill Angels, Harvard Business School Alumni Angels' Northern California chapter, Keiretsu Forum — screen more early-stage companies than any other city's. The historic clubs on Nob Hill remain among the most selective in the country and publish almost nothing; the newer clubs south of Market position themselves for founders. Silicon Valley and Peninsula chapters are listed under San Francisco.
